Operates on 110V AC.A simple test to determine the depth of a scratch is to slowly move your fingernail across the groove of the scratch. If your fingernail does not catch in the groove, the scratch is usually shallow enough to attempt removal by polishing. However, if your fingernail does catch in the groove, it's too deep for removal.Important: The felt wheel must be dressed and trued before each operation. Old cerium oxide powder can be removed by gently operating the tool for a few seconds on medium grade sandpaper. This operation will also true the felt to a flat, plumb surface.Package includes one Makita 9218PB Disc Sander/Polisher, Polishing Head Assembly and Spacer plus one pound of cerium oxide.Important NotesAlways use the CRL 9257 with a GF1 ground fault circuit interrupter to reduce the risk of electric shock.
